Tribalbum Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
In short
- This website uses no cookies, no analytics, no pixels and no advertising.
- Only the album in the browser (
tribalbum.com/i/) keeps your session in local storage, because without it you couldn’t view the album. It is strictly necessary and does not require consent. - The app shows advertising, but not with cookies: this is explained below.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. Equivalent techniques, such as browser storage (local storage), fall under the same legal umbrella.
2. What this site uses
No cookies, first-party or third-party, no analytics tools and no device fingerprinting. The informational and legal pages store nothing in your browser.
When you open an album with its link, the page stores the following in your browser’s local storage:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tribalbum.sesion | Your anonymous session in the album, so you don’t have to join again | Until you delete it from your browser |
tribalbum.letra | Whether you want large print | Until you delete it from your browser |
The album’s photos are loaded from our storage provider (Supabase) with links that expire after 24 hours.
3. Technical server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, which may record technical connection data (IP, date, page, browser) to serve the pages and maintain security. They are not cookies and are not used for advertising.
4. The mobile app
The app shows Google AdMob advertising using the device’s advertising identifier, with prior consent in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and with Apple’s tracking permission on iOS. With “no ads” or with a Tribalbum Family spot there is no advertising. All the details are in the Privacy Policy.
5. How to delete it
You can delete this site’s local storage from your browser’s privacy settings. If you do, you will have to open an album’s link again to view it again.
